I was very happy to be selected as a participating artist at VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Arts; annual group exhibition in Co. Carlow, Ireland in 2016.
VISUAL is like Ireland’s version of the Tate in Britain, its a magnificent building that exhibits contemporary art from artists working all over the world. Here is the link to their website:
The following are a couple of images from the exhibition, my painting ‘Bad manners: Eoin’ was chosen for the exhibition. The exhibition gets hundreds of submissions and the selectors narrow it down to about 60 art-works.
The selectors of the art-work for the exhibition were: Annie Fletcher, Senior Curator, Van Abbesmuseum Eindhoven and Claire Feeley, Producer Barbican Centre, London. Two great curators from two great contemporary art institutions, it was great to exhibit with such an amazing group of artists in such an amazing place, very lucky!
